português Lia Krucken (Salvador, Bahia, 1973) é artista interdisciplinar, com interesse em Artes Visuais, Ativismo Artístico e processos de criação colaborativa. Investiga exílio, migrações e deslocamentos na arte contemporânea e descolonização do conhecimento. Usa a técnica de sobreimpressão para investigar a “geografia imaterial” e “a arte de ver o mundo sobreimpresso” (Llansol). Lia Krucken colabora com instituições culturais e de pesquisa desde 1990 e desenvolve workshops com cidadãos, estudantes e artistas. É professora convidada de universidades no Brazil, Portugal, Alemanha, Itália e Estados Unidos. Atualmente é Pesquisadora Internacional junto ao Colégio das Artes da Universidade de Coimbra. É também expert associada da Plataforma Design, uma ONG brasileira para design, cultura e biodiversidade.  Desde 2016 atua como voluntária da CABRA (Casas Brasileiras de Refúgio – www.cabras.org), que recebe artistas e escritores em risco no Brasil. É integrante do Esfinge Coletivo Ancestral, uma iniciativa ancorada na ancestralidade e na diversidade como base para o desenvolvimento de ateliers dialogados e obras coletivas. Integra também o coletivo de arte Alt-Lietzow 12 em Berlin. Vive em Berlim e Coimbra. She uses the technique of sobreimpression to investigate “immaterial geography” and “the art of seeing the world overlapped” (Llansol). She has been collaborating with cultural and research institutions since 1990, and was running workshops with citizens, students and artists. She has been teaching at universities in Brazil, Portugal, Germany, Italy, and USA. Currently she is International Researcher at the Arts College of Coimbra University. She is an associated expert of Plataforma Design, a Brazilian non-governmental organization for design, culture and biodiversity. She is engaged in CABRA (www.cabras.org) and the International Cities of Refuge Network – ICORN, which receive artists and writers in risk. She is part of Esfinge Coletivo Ancestral, an initiative that has ancestrality and diversity as main values and promotes ateliers in dialogue and collaborative works.
